CRM Settings > Email and SMS Sequence

Automating your communication

This is a very useful feature to automate many of your emails and SMS that you send to your leads and customers. Some of the examples of Email sequences are:

  • Send follow up email 2 days after you send a quote to a lead
  • Send another follow email 2 days after the first follow up
  • Send an information email a few days before the job date
  • Payment follow up emails based on the payment status of the job

These sequences can be set based on the status of the opportunity or job. After the email or SMS sent the status of the opportunity or job can be set.

A name that clearly defines the sequence

You can describe the sequence here

This is the frequency at which the sequence is run by the system

Choose whether this sequence is for an opportunity or a job

If it's a job sequence you need to choose the system job type. If you have signed up only for Removals or Cleaning, only that system job type will appear in the selection

All opportunities/jobs in this status will be selected for execution by the sequence program

The sequence program will check the initial status and combine it with this value to pick the opportunity/job for execution.
Example:
Initial Status: New | Number of days: 1 | The email will be sent 1 day after the Initial Status was set in that status

After the sequence program is run, the opportunity/job will be set to this status.
The Initial Status and the Post Status cannot be the same
