To see the hidden opportunity:

When you mark an opportunity as lost, it disappears. To see the lost opportunity, expand the search filter, add lost to the selection, and then apply.

To see the hidden job:

When you mark a job as completed, it disappears from the job list. Expand the search filter, add completed status to the selection, and then apply to see the hidden job.
