For sending an automatic booking confirmation, you can set up an Email and SMS Sequence here:
CRM | CRM Settings --> Email & SMS Sequences --> Add New Sequence
- Name: Auto Booking confirmation
- Description: suitable description
- Company Name: leave as default
- Frequency: leave as default
- Is opportunity: leave as default
- System Job Type: leave as default
- Date Check: Status Date (default)
- Status Date: Send Email after a number of days: 0 (email will be sent immediately)
- Initial Status: New
- Post Status: Confirmed
- Send Email: Turn ON
- Email Template: Booking confirmation or any other template
- From Emai: Your Company Email ID
- From Email Name: Your Company Email sender name.
- Active: Turn ON (Read below before you make this active)
When this sequence is enabled, it will send an email to all Jobs in a new status and change the jobs' status to Confirmed. If this is not something you want to happen. So, before you activate this sequence, change the status of the current 'New' status jobs to something else.
When this sequence is active, an email is automatically sent to the customer whenever a new job is created (i.e., an opportunity is confirmed to a job).
