The Inbox has the following three tabs:

  • Emails
  • SMS
  • Tasks

The Inbox is however, not a replacement for your email Inbox. You should still be using your email client to access all your emails. If there are incoming emails, only those emails related to the opportunity or job will be shown in the Emails tab of the Inbox.

Emails tab

The Emails tab shows the following notifications:

When an email is sent from Onexfort and the email is opened by the recepient a notification will appear in the Inbox 'Email Opened'. Sometimes these notifications may not be accurate due to some email clients like Gmail, trying to move the emails to different tabs like the Promotions or Updates. These notifications at least assures that the email was delivered without any error and did not land in the SPAM/JUNK folder of the email client. The user can click on the Lead/Customer name to navigate to the Opportunity or Job page.

When a leader or customer emails the notification 'Email Received' appears in the Inbox. The user can click on the Lead/Customer name to navigate to the Opportunity or Job page.

Payment Received.png

When a payment is received from Stripe, a notification will appear in the Inbox 'Payment Received'.

When an inventory list form link or button is sent to your lead/customer, they will be able to open the external inventory form and submit the inventory. When the inventory form is submitted, the notification 'Inventory List Created' appears in the Inbox. The user can click on the Lead/Customer name to navigate to the Opportunity or Job page.

When your lead/customer resubmits the inventory form the notificaiton 'Inventory List Modified' appears in the Inbox. The user can click on the Lead/Customer name to navigate to the Opportunity or Job page.

All notifications have to marked as 'Mark as Read' from the Action column of the tab. They can also be bulk 'Mark as Read' by bulk selecting them using the check boxes in the first column and clicking on the 'Mark as Read' button. It's always a good habit to keep this Inbox page clean of all the notifications by marking the notifications as Read. If there are thousands of notifications on the Inbox page, logging into the system will take longer time and this Inbox page will also take longer to load.

SMS tab

The SMS tab is for future use and will have incoming reply SMS notifications from your lead/customer.

Tasks

Tasks (aka Reminders) can be created from the Opportunity and Job pages. The list of all tasks are shown in the Tasks tab of the Inbox. The tab will list all the Tasks assigned to all users. After the tasks have been actioned, the user can click on the 'Mark as Done' button in the Action column.
